"Following my recent family holiday to France I’m happy to report how fantastic the CX-5 performed through-out the entire trip.

Refined with excellent performance and economy covering over 1000 miles very efficiently with a smooth comfortable ride. Previous German SUV`s we have covered the same trip in had made passengers feel travel sick.

In addition, the CX-5 is very spacious with added convenient benefits such as USB charging in the front and rear centre arm rest`s, plus abundance of storage spaces, including a three-way split rear seats offering full practicality with a very large luggage area including additional space under the boot floor for further storage. The electric tilt slide sunroof was also a very welcome feature enabling us to further enjoy the very nice weather.

The excellent automatic transmission is a perfect match for the advanced 2.0ltr engine resulting in smooth effortless performance, with the added benefit of convenient safety features such as the very informative head up display made driving on the continent safe and relaxing with immediate crucial information displayed such as speed, sat nav, cruise control & current speed limits. The adaptive cruise control maintaining a safe distance at all times with lane change warning & lane keep assist other notable highlights on the very long French autoroutes.

Other benefits included the superb BOSE surround sound system which make the long journey back to the ferry seem like 5 minutes. Plus the remote electric folding mirrors and keyless entry made parking on the overnight ferry much easier with the limited space on offer.

To sum up an excellent very specious highly specified quality family car capable of covering long distances quickly, safely and economically whilst been comfortable & enjoyable to drive."
